The SGM Security Business Manager (SBM)
is a dynamic, straightforward scheduling and management program
that uses Microsoft Access 2000 and 2002. In addition, SBM
can be used to track billing and pay rates, contract longevity,
post instructions, and much more. The SBM is password-level
protected to allow you to assign levels of authority. You
can assign edit privileges or view only privileges to specific
functions. You will be able to print out a variety of information
as needed, such as:
Client Information
SBM has a complete demographic outline for each client. Clients
may have as many posts as necessary. This information can
be printed out for one client or all clients.
Post information
Post information includes, name, address, contact, telephone,
schedules, post notes, and more. The following is a partial
list of the controls within the Post Information module:
- Shift schedules: Enter the hours for each day of
the week. As you are entering the shift hours SBM calculates
the hours for that day and weeks hours
- Reduce double scheduling: SBM will not allow overlapping
hours or mistakenly double schedule anyone.
- Master schedule: SBM provides a master schedule for each
post.
- Daily schedule: Once the Master Schedule is established,
you are able to create a daily schedule by entering officers
into the various shifts. You can then print out the daily
shift for one post or for all shifts.
- Reduce recompiling schedules: SBM allows you to
make daily schedule adjustments during the week. The following
week the schedules will revert back to the master scheduled
security officers.
- Billing hour rates: Each post has its own billing
hour rates.
Staff Data
- Employee profile: There are numerous categories
that can be documented and printed out in various configurations.
Some of the categories are: names, addresses, telephone
numbers, social security number, date of birth, date of
hire, hourly pay rate, availability hours and more.
- Staff availability: Staff availability allows
you to enter the days and hours that an officer is available
to work. Alerts appear if a scheduler attempts to schedule
an officer during hours that they have previously been listed
as unavailable.
- Staff Schedule: The staff schedule can be issued
to security officers weekly. It contains the post name,
address, shift, hours of the days that a security officer
is scheduled to work.
- Post Instructions: The SBM allows you to create
unlimited post instructions. Post instructions are listed
and accumulated under specific post instruction categories
and can be assigned to other posts as needed with just a
click of the mouse.
Editing Reports
SBM allows you to edit reports while in the program or send
them to Microsoft Word for additional editing and enhancements.
Searching Power
SBM allows you to search the database for clients, posts,
and staff.
