How
does it work?
ust load the GuardLog System onto your
computer. Enter your security officer’s
information, post information and schedules
and you are ready to go. When an officer calls
the telephone line connected to your computer
they are able to check on/off duty. GuardLog
uses caller ID technology to cross check the
schedule and the post telephone number. For
additional verification, you can require officers
to enter a unique ID number. If the information
is correct, GuardLog’s voice modem will
tell the officer that they are checked on/off
duty and begin their patrol.
What
happens if they miss checking on?
Should an officer fail to perform a
scheduled action (check-on, check-off,
time check, etc) it will call a supervisor/
manager and advise them of the problem so that
appropriate action can be taken. If the supervisor/manager
does not answer, GuardLog will
then call the next two telephone numbers designated
to receive notice.
Can I use GuardLog to issue
schedules?
Schedules can be printed for officers
indicating the day, date, times and posts they
are scheduled for. Clients can be issued schedules
indicating each officers name, time, date and
schedules at their Post(s).
What kind of Printouts are
available?
Printouts can be made by day, days
or weeks. They can be used for billing, payroll
and verification analysis, billing disputes,
payroll disputes, labor disputes and more.
What equipment will I need
to operate the GuardLog system?
You will need
a computer, a dedicated telephone line and
a voice modem that you can purchase at most
electronic stores or you can purchase if from
SGM.

The GuardLog system comes with a user manual.
The user manual is very user friendly to reduce
technical maintenance. You can also order a
CD video tutorial. In the event you need to
talk to someone, we are available. GuardLog
provides at no charge one (1) hour of technical
support during the 30-day trial period.
Do I have to download the
system?
No, you can order the GuardLog
System CD. These CDs not only contain the GuardLog
System Software and the user manual
you get a Video tutorial to walk you through
all the set up and applications.
What happens after the 30
day trial?
Upon receipt of payment you will
be sent a USB dongle. The dongle contains the
access code. Plug it in and use the GuardLog
System without end.

you must first utilize our free 30-day trial

it and see how dynamic it will be for your
