The SGM Security Officer
Training Program is over 40 hours,
separated into 11 chapters. The
program is certified and exceeds
all compliance requirements of the BSIS AB2880
in California. The program is adaptable for
any State and organizational requirements.
Included is a modification CD which contains
templates of the page or pages that could possibly
conflict with your State requirements. To
modify your training program just
open the page(s) that need adjusting, modify,
print them out and change them. The program
is designed to let you utilize all or part
of it. To enhance your program why not add
SGM’s 21 training
videos. These videos merge perfectly
with the program and not only reduce
your verbal instruction they give
the students a visual understanding as well.

BSIS AB2880 – The Security Officer Training Program is certified and contains all the requirements needed for training in the State of California. A certificate for BSIS will be included for those customers who will need one. The training program actually goes beyond the California compulsory training and includes a majority of the basic elements necessary for Security Officer training in every State.
American Red Cross First Aid & Safety Handbook - Six copies of the handbook is included for students to use during the First Aid session. Additional copies are available for larger classes (see the book section in this catalog).
Training Videos – To maximize your training order the Security Officer Training Program with Video. The SGM videos are between 20 and 30 minutes long and are perfect for giving the student an overall understanding of the subject before the instructor begins. Details regarding the training videos are on pages 4 through 15.
PowerPoint Presentation– Over 1,000 slides to emphasize the subjects as they
are being taught.
Modification CD – The Modification CD has several templates of segments of the program that may conflict with your State laws. Simply open the template in MS Word and modify those sections that conflict, print and replace the page. It also contains a template of the Security Officer workbook
Security Supervisor’s Field Training Manual – The field manual can be used by instructors to augment their knowledge and can also be used as a text book for supervisor training. Additional books are available.
Security Officer Workbook - An instructor’s hard copy of the workbook is provided. The workbook is to be used by students to make notes and keep up with the pace of the class. Additional copies can be made by you using the SGM Modification CD.
